Now dPU has been around for a few years but we have grown apart, almost everybody is playing another game at the moment and i really hope that at some stage we do manage to pick something up again that we can all enjoy (left for dead 3 maybe
)Anyway until that time the website is a meeting point for the members that are still around and for discussion of our minecraft server. Thats right we are relaunching our minecraft server we had to shut down due to hardware issues. Now for those that played on the old server, no its not the same world we did regenerate the world so it would have all the features of the updated minecraft since our old world was made in the alpha. Now offcourse everything that was build is no longer there. Now before you start screaming and kicking my door in we do still have the old world back upped so its not entirely gone. We talked about having it as a second world but that would only put unnecessary stress on the server. Now it is possible to use third party programs to bring in buildings from one world to the other, at this point in time i am not yet certain how to do this but i will figure it out. Once that happens people that do come back and play on our server can request previously build buildings back and i will look into it.
Now the adress for our MineCraft server is mc.team-dpu.eu and everybody can join whenever they want. However you will need to be given permission first to build anything. If you know me personally you can just ask me, otherwise anybody can just ask on the forums. However our little MC server is pretty private so knowing someone from the server will help otherwise i am going to be pretty stingy.
Our TS3 server is also still running, and allthough the ip has not changed it does now have a dns name linked to it namely ts.team-dpu.eu.
Well thats it for now, i still have a few things to do on the website but i would love to see us come together again and actually play something. I personally say we really need to find a new game that we can all enjoy since the old one's have been played to much.
